Colonoscopy

Is it time for a Colonoscopy?

A colonoscopy is the first step in detecting, and many times treating, Colon Cancer. Current guidelines suggest that you should get your first colonoscopy at age 45 if you are at average risk for colorectal cancer. Regular screenings are recommended from age 45 through 75. How often you need to screen will be determined by your physician after your initial colonoscopy.

If you are over age 45 and have never had a colonoscopy,
