February 12, 2025 /

Mount Pleasant, Texas – February 7, 2025: Titus County Hospital District Board of Managers is pleased to announce the promotion of Patricia Boeckmann to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC), effective February 7, 2025.  This appointment marks a significant milestone in the hospital’s commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services to OUR community.

Boeckmann, who has served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of The Clinics of Titus (TCOT) since joining the health system in 2016, brings a wealth of clinical and leadership experience to her new role. She began her healthcare career as a Registered Nurse in a rural hospital in North Dakota, with much of her clinical practice occurring in the operating room.  Her experience, both at the bedside and as a health care executive, allows her to lead with knowledge and heart.

Boeckmann completed her Master’s in Health Care Administration at the University of Minnesota in 1996.  She brings more than thirty years of experience in operations, clinical initiatives, and patient safety from her experience with two health care industry giants, Straub Medical Center in Hawaii and Allina Health Care in Minnesota.  Her academic and corporate health care experience coupled with rural health care expertise gained at TRMC has positioned her as the right leader at the right time for TRMC.

Boeckmann is a mother of 3 children and is blessed with 5 grandchildren.  Michelle and family (2 grands) live in Dripping Springs, TX; a son, Brion and family (3 grands) reside in northern Minnesota, and a daughter Annie who is proud to be a scribe in the TRMC emergency department while finishing her undergrad degree; with plans to continue a medical career in Mount Pleasant.

“We are thrilled to have Patty step into the role of CEO,” said Don Lowry, Chairman of the Board of Managers. “Her deep understanding of healthcare operations, combined with her clinical expertise, makes her uniquely qualified to lead this health system into the future.”

During the COVID pandemic, Boeckmann’s clinical and emergency management leadership were instrumental in the health system’s local response culminating in the lowest county COVID mortality rate in Northeast Texas while treating the highest COVID positive per capita in the thirty-five-county region.  Patty was a key contributor in development of TCOT and the growth of over seventy-five (75) physicians and advanced practice professionals to this area.  Her promotion to CEO is a testament to her outstanding leadership and dedication to improving patient care.

As Boeckmann steps into this new role, the expertise she brings to the CEO position will be transformational as she orchestrates strategies to push TRMC to higher levels of safety, quality, and fiscal accountability while focusing on the patient experience.  Her experience with dyad physician partnerships and service line development will create opportunities for shared success and program advancement within the health system and medical staff.

Boeckmann expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I am honored for the opportunity the Board has blessed me with to lead TRMC and am grateful to have at my side, a team of proven leaders, physicians/providers and staff who will continue to invest their talents in this community.  Together we will build on the foundation of high quality and patient centered care to build healthier tomorrows for OUR community.”

The Board’s appointment of Boeckmann to CEO reinforces TRMC’s commitment to developing internal talent and promoting locally.
